I am from a small town in South Dakota. I am an avid animal lover due to growing up on a farm. I learned at a young age the value of hard work. When faced with an obstacle, I will always give it my all and try to come out successful.

     I attended McIntosh public school from grades 5-12 and am part of the graduating class of 2018! In my Sophomore year I realized how much the art of hair and makeup meant to me. I also knew I wanted to be able to help others see their own natural beauty and express themselves.

     I was very involved in high school activities. I was class president Junior year and also a student council member. I was in choir every year of high school. I was very active in my 4H group from 6-12 grade and was my groups president for my last year. I was a participant in sports until I received an injury Sophomore year that ended my ability to be in high school sports. I was a National Honor Society member and served as president one year and Secretary for my last year. I was a very active member in FCCLA. I took projects to state twice and for my last year I served as my groups President and also as the South Dakota Region One VP. I even had an article posted in the National FCCLA magazine Teen Times in Spring 2018. I was also a member of the South Dakota ProStart cooking competition for two years and competed on the culinary team both years and served as team captain during the second one. 

     All of my high school activities greatly prepared me for my future career. I learned social skills and leadership skills that are crucial to be successful. I have learned to go outside my comfort zone and take risks. This encouraged me to enroll in Headlines Academy to obtain a license in Cosmetology. I graduated from Headlines Academy with many certifications. I am currently working as a Master Stylist at the JCPenney Salon in Rapid City. I was featured by Shark Fin Shears in 2021 as part of their real artist campaign. I have also been featured several times by the JCPenney Salon's main page and a few other Instagram hair profiles as well. I am constantly learning new trends and techniques to stay up to date and help me be the best stylist possible! I was also voted Second Place Gold in the Rapid City community votes contest for best hair salon in Rapid City 2024. I won first place Platinum in the 2025 Rapid City Community Votes for best hair salon in Rapid City.
