Let’s talk about fear. We all face huge obstacles at times in life. We all wonder if we make the right choices or do the right things. Why do we worry so much about what others think about our choices though? We constantly are posting on social media trying to give an illusion of a perfect life. The truth is though almost everyone has struggles that no one else knows about. We get so caught up wanting to look perfect and like an amazing and well oriented business person who is successful. But the truth is just by trying to reach goals and accomplish dreams you’ve already had a success. Just taking the steps to reach outside your comfort zone and accomplish more is a success some people never do due to the fear of failing. But what would really happen if you fail? Yes, it would suck to not accomplish what you had wanted. However you still ended up farther ahead than where you started because you took the initial step to try. So what if it takes you awhile to get to your end goal, or maybe never even reach it? At least you know what you’re capable of at the end of the day. Better to say you tried and it didn’t go as planned versus “I wonder what would have happened had I tried.”. I’ve dealt with anxiety and depression that causes OCD for years. It’s not something I talk about often because I’ve always felt it was something to be ashamed of. I used to think no one would believe in me being a hairstylist when I face those struggles. I’ve learned over the years though many people suffer the same way. By admitting my faults I am not weaker but actually stronger. I have learned how to overcome any obstacles or struggles and reach for my goals. It isn’t always easy to get to where you want to be in life. It is a scary thought of having to struggle and face obstacles. however, without trying you never know just how far you go. And while it’s hard to admit failure if you surround yourself with the right support group you will never feel alone. The more you hang out with negative people who complain about where they are in life the more you will become stuck. Instead, surround yourself by people who push you to go out there and reach for more. You will accomplish so much more when you stop thinking what people will think of you and start thinking what you can accomplish when you reach for those goals. The truth is no one has it all together. Everyone is a mess at times. You also will fail at some point in your life. You also can have huge success that overcomes any and all failure if you just take that first step though.
