The Holiday Season

The Holiday season is the busiest time of year for stylist. But at the same time, it also means the most stressful. So many people make us feel rushed and stressed when they wait till the last minute and want perfect hair. We get yelled at when they have impossible expectations, when we’re fully booked, and when our prices are too high. So many people forget this is our livelihood. It’s a demanding and tough career. So be patient with your stylist and friendly this time of year. Chances are they haven't had a break all day and are exhausted from extended hours. I hope everyone had a happy Holidays! So many people lose sight of the meaning so remember why we celebrate holidays. Not for the gifts but for time with family and friends. We get caught up and get crabby and stressed and take it out on each other when we should be doing the opposite. At the end of the day it isn't about spending money on the best gifts but being there for each other.
